yes but i'd avoid specific criteria. "significant contribution" would work as long as it's tied specifically to theatrical work.

i suspect they'll have to weather a storm over the next celebrity who dies but having gotten out in front of it will help.

besides, they asked for it. they caused this mess with their celebrity fawning. celebrity always had clout on b'way but this kind of genuflecting was once reserved for the roundabout.
