It's a superb production, perfectly acted and visually stunning, seamlessly shifting between the two time periods. Romola Garai is smashing. And Rosemary Harris remains such a vital theatrical creature. The painter and his son (can't recall names and don't have my playbill handy) were both great, too.

The biddies around me seemed to aggressively hate it, though I guess that's not surprising. Even at his most accessible, Stoppard is still complex and unapologetically intellectual.
