I purposely avoid reading anything (especially reviews) about a show before I see it. For me, knowing too much spoils the experience.

I tend to skim the posts by ATC posters whose tastes seem to align with mine to see if they liked or disliked a show. I use that as a gauge to see if I want to buy a ticket. After I've seen the show I dig deeper and read more fully.
