There's a bit of discussion in the "Playbill" about the fact that the play is rarely produced, because of the difficulty of finding a lot of fine Indian (male) actors. Two in the ensemble stand out. The artist, who is one of the leads, and the tour guide, who leads a scholar on a tour of India. He is the head of an Association of teachers of English in India. He is very funny, a bundle of nerves and enthusiasm.
