Wonderful play about Laurette Taylor & Tennessee Williams preparing for the opening of Glass Menagerie. A real love letter to theater and the people who create it.

Played Aug 28-Sep 6 at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre. I hadn't heard anything about the play, but the idea sounded interesting, so I took a chance and it was one of those unexpectedly thrilling nights in the theater I imagine we all (on this board) live for. It made Tennessee come alive in a way I had never imagined him before. And Pennylynn White as Laurette - a great actress portraying another great actress!
