Not sure if you're new here or not, but I find your tone odious and overbearing.

It's nothing to do with your opinion: it's a free message board.

And sure, you are free to express your opinions as high-handedly and obnoxiously as you want.

But I have the right to feel my stomach churn at the glee with which you bloviate.

I mean.....REALLY!

I'm sorry I came across as odious and overbearing. I usually do not post negative opinions because I know how hard everybody works in the theater and who am I to judge anyway? I do LOVE theater - it's why I moved to New York - but after three unfortunate experiences in a row, perhaps I overreacted. I wish I had had a better time at these shows and could have joined in with the majority rave opinions. I'm glad so many people are enjoying these plays. And in the end, I guess, it IS only a play, so .... again, my apologies.

Although I certainly didn't need a personal apology I appreciate you conceding your tone may have come off as harsh. (As did mine.)

I think we all love theatre here- even Ben Brantley and Michael Riedel love it, I suspect- and just like in other arenas where Love rules us, we all express it a little differently.

Thanks so much for this and for making my day. And sorry if I had the opposite effect on you :).
