No doubt the Times will admit an "editing error." But this is so wrong that it certainly calls into question the writer's qualifications. Does anyone know his history at the Times and elsewhere?

Yes, a previous poster alluded to his distinguished parentage(father AND mother). What I want to know is any info about his Times and other journalistic experience prior to this article--IF such experience exists.

Well, he certainly has an extensive history at the Times, albeit as a Styles writer--which shouldn't be a negative. I just hope--if he's to have a long career with the Times--that this Streisand piece is the exception, not the rule, to his knowledge.
As a side note, I'm surprised that the Times, which at least used to be obsessed with someone's age, doesn't cite his.
