Mame-why is V

Posted by: bearcat 04:02 pm EDT 09/13/14

Victoria Clark never mentioned for Mame when a revival is brought up? She mentions on playbill.com this week that it is a role she'd like to play - and she is full of the requisite warmth and can work up her own kind of zany.

I'd like to see her essay Rose in Gypsy too.

this roles would be perfect for her.

she would have been perfect for Maria (von Trapp) and Marion Paroo years ago,
also King's Anna (I told think she's too old for this now), Fiona in Brigadoon

and how about Grey Gardens - either role. Providence be kind-
