this is actually pretty mild vitriol compared to what sometimes comes out around here at the mention of her name. i've never understood it but i'm kinda glad she can still elicit that kind of response.

if you think this is bad you might want to prepare yourself for what's to come if she makes GYPSY.

Fanboys are a bit nutty - there's no doubt about it - but I'm just puzzled by these particular reactions. I really enjoyed the read and thought that Streisand came off as surprisingly down to earth - not to mention smart, passionate and charming. If you read the comments below, you'd think it was some kind of character assassination in the Times.
