The Country House

This is a solid well directed play about a family with strong theater roots. There are excellent performances by the entire cast.
I would highly recommend it.

Even if you liked it it's hard to see how one could characterize that grim second act as delightful...
As a faithful poster has suggested close below, it's positioned somewhere between The Royal Family and The Sea Gull, without the inspiration of either of its models.
I found it drearily familiar.

A very good play with humor and pathos delivered by a group of terrific actors made for a wonderful afternoon of theater.
See it.
