Mo'olelo Performing Arts has announced a three-play season for 2015: Pinkolandia, by Andrea Thome West Coast Premiere February 26 - March 22 A Chilean family in exile in Wisconsin struggles with its new life, and the children create imaginary worlds to compensate. Directed by José Zayas, who has been associated with this play at other venues. in a word, by Lauren Yee Rolling World Premiere with the San Francisco Playhouse and the Cleveland Public Theatre June 4 - 28 Fiona's son has been missing for two years, and she can't understand the casual treatment his disappearance has received. In the play, Fiona searches her memory for a missing clue that might make the other pieces fall into place. Directed by Tom Dugdale, a young UC San Diego MFA graduate who has recently made a creative splash as a director locally. Cell, by Cassandra Medley World Premiere September 24 - October 18 A woman obtains jobs at her company for two family members. But, the jobs involve dealing with undocumented immigrants, and the women's sympathy for the immigrants is frowned on by their employer. Lydia Fort, Mo'olelo's new executive artistic director, makes her San Diego directorial debut with this production. Bill, in San Diego
