Sadly, yeast nation isn't any more interesting than watching bread rise

It was first preview, but 2.5 hours long with most songs sounding similar. There was some humor throughout, but not nearly the level of urinetown. Ray of light did Triassic parq earlier this year and it is surprising the similarities with the plot although this doesn't have the movie to poke fun of. A group of asexual beings that are threatened by a mutation of the species. I can see why this show never went much farther in ny than the fringe festival although I think this might be more developed, which probably just means longer. The cast does it's best with the material, although they have scream over an over amplified offstage band. I just wish they spent their energy on a better show.
