$215 for Chicago!

Posted by: MarkBearSF 01:16 pm EST 11/07/14

A friend was thinking about seeing "Chicago" in SF. He checked the SHN site and saw the premium orchestra and loge seats were $215!!!

I can't imagine that there are any seats on Broadway for the show at that price. Personally, I'm happy since I suspect that a lot of 'em will go unsold and become my $50 Goldstar seat!

It seems like there are a lot more special shows this season. I wonder if Nederlander is throwing a lot of stuff against the wall (including pricing strategies) to see what will stick in anticipation of next season without Carole Shorenstein Hayes.
