NOVEMBER 13-14 BETTY BUCKLEY Tony Award-winning actress and singer Betty Buckley returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko with her new show, The Lyricist , celebrating some of the most beloved writers of Broadway and The Great American Songbook, including Oscar Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and contemporary writers such as Mary Chapin Carpenter. These new arrangements of Buckley’s favorite songs are featured on her new CD, Ghostlight, which The New York Times says “captures more dimensions of her complex musical personality than anything she has recorded before.” Don’t miss the chance to see and hear this legendary leading lady and master interpreter of song.

DECEMBER 12TH DAVE DAMIANI AND THE NO VACANCY ORCHESTRA WITH RENEE OLSTEAD AND LANDAU EUGENE MURPHY JR.
Dave Damiani is an emerging new talent whose debut album Watch What Happens was released last year and called “an incredible achievement” by GRAMMY Award-winner and Feinstein’s at the Nikko Artist, Steve Tyrell. Dave will be joined on stage by Warner Brother’s recording artist, David Foster protégé and Chris Botti collaborator, Renee Olstead and America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. who’s first CD That’s Life (produced by Steve Tyrell) debuted at number one on the Billboard Jazz Chart. These young artists will be backed by The No Vacancy Orchestra and, together, they will celebrate the legacy of Frank Sinatra on what would have been the Chairman’s 99th Birthday.

December 13 – 14 TOVAH FELDSHUH

Acclaimed actress Tovah Feldshuh, nominated a total of six times for Tony and Emmy Awards, makes her Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut in Tovah: Out of Her Mind! She’ll perform songs from Gershwin to Judy Collins as well as a gallery of hilarious characters from socialite Muffy Brooks Asthma Alsop on Park Avenue to Grandma Ada in the Bronx. Ms. Feldshuh was last seen by San Francisco audiences at the Geary Theatre in Golda’s Balcony by William Gibson about Prime Minister Golda Meir. Her performance of this role in New York became the longest running one-woman show in Broadway history. Most recently, Feldshuh stopped the show as the trapeze-swinging Berthe in the Tony Award-winning revival of Pippin.
