Assuming audience producers took the $400k

Would that have gone directly into financing the production, so investors don't have to raise that money, or would it have gone into the income pot where royalties and other fees/expenses would have been taken out before distribution to investors or just added to the reserves for the show.

Probably no one but an insider for this particular show knows the answer. But maybe this is somethîng known by General Broadway investors.
