Just saw this last night at the Metropolitan Room. What a show? Brent saluted the legendary writing team of Kander and Ebb, my favorite composers. He covered their catalogue and took a different and fabulous turn with a couple of the songs. And how special could the night be with John Kander sitting there watching the performance and enjoying every moment of it. There is one more show tonight at 9:30 and I advise you to go see it. this is the first time he did this in New York and he made a cd some years back of the songs of Kander and Ebb.
