When it was presented at the George Street Playhouse a few years ago, I was amazing that such a dated, unfunny production had made it that far. Imagine "Abie's Irish Rose" exhumed with some forgettable songs added. The talents of Tyne Daly and Harriet Harris were wasted. Lisa Howard stole what there was to steal of the show. I admit to liking one aspect: a twist that I didn't see coming. Absent any other pluses, I can't see this production succeeding.
