"I said this to my date (female) who thought the same thing. So did a 40 something producer friend sitting behind me. As we discussed this at the first intermission, and middle aged matinee lady passing by us chimed in - 'I was wondering the same thing ..."

Add me and my plus-one, plus a few other other people I've spoken with since seeing the show. So it seems the performance does put that idea in the heads of some audience members, whether or not that was the intention.
