I agree. At least in Allegro, the level of musicianship is strictly amateur, which inhibits the complexity of the arrangements that can be used. As a one time experiment, I understand doing these types of productions, but as a regular thing I also don't get it, except that they are cheap to produce and so attractive to producers.
