I guess no one remembers now that "Hazel" was originally a series of cartoons by Ted Key in the Saturday Evening Post in the '40s and '50s, long before the TV series, and that the maid in the cartoons was both considerably younger and much bossier than the character as played by Shirley Booth. The cartoon maid ran that household as if it were her own. Klea Blackhurst, though, should be very good in the role, however they choose to interpret it.
