A first time play reading in NYC

Posted by: Johno60 07:43 am EST 11/14/14

I am a Philadelphia area playwright who had my first play reading in NYC this week.

I was surprised at how overwhelming it was. I was surrounded by loving New York friends who were positive and enthusiastic--but perhaps an unreliable barometer. The 'non friends' who showed up gave great feedback and I treasure that honesty. Now, I'm trying to figure out the next step.

Thanks for letting me share. Just to be in the center of this city was unbelievable.

Cheers!
