Of course, as you know, "Passion" really did not employ the "schtick" (if by schtick you mean actors playing instruments). It did, I think, imply that we were viewing something as sort of a memory or dream of Giorgio's so, in that sense it was definitely "Doyle" as was "Company" (inside Bobby's head) and "Sweeney…". (inside someone's head….I guess).

I enjoyed and appreciated all three but I suppose Doyle does come across as a bit of a "one trick pony" and the trick doesn't always work.
