J M Barrie's Love Interest in "Finding Neverland"

In a comment on the NY Times ArtsBeat blog post about Kelsey Grammer being cast as Charles Frohman, James M. Barrie's producer, in "Finding Neverland," one Charles Frohman, a descendant, scoffs at the idea of Laura Michelle Kelly playing Barrie's love interest. "Oh please, all of us in The Frohman family have known for decades that CF was Barrie's 'love' interest and 'vice versa'," the current Mr. Frohman writes. I posted a reply to Mr. Frohman's comment in which I asked if there was a discrepancy in his ancestor's Wikipedia entry which states that the theater critic Charles Dillingham was Frohman's "longtime live-in companion." Mr. Frohman has not yet replied. The Wikipedia entry also notes that Frohman perished aboard the Lusitania after it was torpedoed by the Germans in World War I. In his Times comment, the current Charles Frohman writes that he has "the letter pleading CF by JM to get over to London asap on The Lusitania rather than the slower Olympic." Perhaps Frohman died for love.
