I saw Moorehead in GIGI and she was wonderful in it. The show deserved a longer run. It played at the enormous Uris (now Gershwin). Somewhat ironic that Arlene Francis, one of the WML panelists who "identified" her on the tv show, replaced her in GIGI. Francis replaced several stars in broadway shows, notably in TCHIN-TCHIN. Despite her broadway and famous TV series, I will always remember Moorehead most for a 1961 appearance she made in "The Twilight Zone," in an episode called "The Invaders."
