In a slightly different way --

During the closing show of THE BOY FROM OZ, the audience (which included a lot of celebrities) "was a-buzz waiting for Hugh Jackman to make an entrance". The house lights dimmed and out bounded Hugh to the piano, to start the opening score of All The Lives of Me. "The audience went into uncontrolled hysteria". But with a big grin, Hugh broke character and teased " We're extending!" The hysteria and the groaning doubled! LOL!
