Ivan Vasiliev at the Mikhailovsky at the Koch Theater

Posted by: singleticket 01:18 pm EST 11/16/14

Ivan Vasiliev, a virile and charismatic dancer, is at the Mikhailovsky tour at the Koch Theater for one more week. He's more than a bit hambone and not at all elegant but there were audible squeals from the ladies in the audience and inaudible ones from many of the gentlemen like me.

A clip of Vasiliev in the Basque Dance from FLAMES OF PARIS which was performed this week at the Koch. The clip is from the Bolshoi and not the Mikhailovsky and the choreography is adapted from the original by Ratmansky and not Messerer as it was at the Koch.
