BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND AFTER RECORD BREAKING, SOLD-OUT RUN PERFORMANCES BEGIN APRIL 15, 2015 AT THE SHN ORPHEUM THEATREPublic On Sale Friday, November 14 at 10AM

– Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking run in 2014, returns for a limited engagement April 15 through June 7, 2015 at the SHN Orpheum Theatre. THE BOOK OF MORMON holds the record for the largest weekly gross in history at both the SHN Orpheum and Curran Theatre and played to over 100% capacity during its 2012 and 2014 engagements.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 14 at 10am through shnsf.com and SHN Audience Services at 888-746-1799. SHN Members will get first access on Monday, Nov. 10 at 10am.

The national tours of THE BOOK OF MORMON have broken 71 house records in 33 venues across the country. At Broadway’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre, THE BOOK OF MORMON has broken the house record 49 times.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, “South Park.” Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker

THE BOOK OF MORMON is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Book (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Direction (Casey Nicholaw, Trey Parker), Best Featured Actress (Nikki M. James), Best Scenic Design (Scott Pask), Best Lighting Design (Brian MacDevitt), Best Sound Design (Brian Ronan) and Best Orchestrations (Larry Hochman, Stephen Oremus); the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical; five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album; four Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Musical, and the Drama League Award for Best Musical.
THE BOOK OF MORMON features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Brian Ronan. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. Music direction and vocal arrangements are by Stephen Oremus.

San Francisco Bay Area Cabaret presents Broadway star and Olivier Award nominee Sierra Boggess in her brand new, critically acclaimed show, Finding the Balance (The Journey Of The Middle Child.) Broadway knows her as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera, and as aspiring opera star Sharon Graham in Master Class. London knows her for her Olivier Award-nominated performance in Love Never Dies and Fantine in Les Miserables. Sierra Boggess will return to Broadway in the spring of 2015 in the new musical It Shoulda Been You alongside Tyne Daly, directed by David Hyde Pierce. Musical from the start, Sierra Boggess has been singing ever since she was a little girl in her hometown choir in Denver CO. She began her professional theatre career in the US tour of Les Miserables, which led to the role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera (Las Vegas production) and then made her Broadway debut as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, for which she was nominated for Drama Desk and Drama League Awards for Best Actress in a Musical. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber chose her to reprise her role as Christine in the Phantom sequel Love Never Dies, for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award, and she performed the role again for the 25th Anniversary concert of The Phantom of the Opera at The Royal Albert Hall in London. She recently returned to Broadway to star in The Phantom of the Opera, opposite Norm Lewis. Other works include the Encores! concert production of Music in the Air opposite Kristin Chenoweth, the Broadway revival of Master Class, co-starring Tyne Daly, and the Off-Broadway play Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora and Delia Ephron. Ms. Boggess released her first solo album, Awakening: Live At 54 Below, in 2013.

BERKELEY REP PRESENTS “A CONVERSATION WITH BOBBY SEALE”— A ONE-NIGHT-ONLY ENGAGEMENT WITH BLACK PANTHER CO-FOUNDER —MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17 at 7:00 PM MODERATED BY DAVEY D, HOST OF KPFA’S HARD KNOCK RADIO EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

– As the revolution continues on stage with added performances of Party People, an energetic and vibrant musical about the legacies of the Black Panthers and Young Lords, Berkeley Rep presents “A Conversation with Bobby Seale,” a one-night-only engagement with the co-founder and former chairman of the Black Panther Party in the Roda Theatre on Monday, November 17, 2014. Seale, who co-founded the Black Panther Party for Self Defense in 1966 along with Huey P. Newton, will offer a rare insider perspective on the history and politics of the Black Panther Party, as well as his current work concerning social justice and human rights issues. The evening will also include a moderated discussion led by Davey D, a nationally recognized journalist and host of KPFA’s Hard Knock Radio, and conclude with a book signing of Seale’s Seize the Time: The Story of the Black Panther Party and Huey P. Newton. “A Conversation with Bobby Seale” is presented in association with the Museum of African Diaspora and Oakland Museum of California and is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
