I've seen Patti about as regularly as you (for context, I saw GYPSY 24 times and SWEENEY TODD over 30). I've seen her be jaw-droppings brilliant and, frankly, embarrassing. Her last go-around on Broadway with Mandy was not good in any way. I go back, frequently, because she's never-not interesting. But she is, to my mind, inconsistent. That's why I used that word, specifically.
