well yes we fundamentally disagree. First, I don't think the "should" dress for the theatre, and second, I don't think we need to be adding to the list of reasons kids are disinclined to go to the theatre. It's precisely the same sort of pretentiousness that Cote is guilty of, and I am totally against it.

I think some private and most parochial schools in the city have uniforms but the kids I am talking about are not from nyc.
