I saw it Saturday afternoon at AMC 42nd Street. To say there were problems is an understatement. While we eventually got to see the show in its entirety without sound issues, it started about 45 minutes late due to utter incompetence. First their in-house radio station or whatever you call it was playing over Elton John's intro, then it continued over the video of the tour given by Elliot. There was no living being in the projection booth. A man from the audience went to find a manager & wasn't successful. The theater showing the presentation was two levels above the customer service desk & no one was manning the concession stands on our level or the one below. When someone finally got to the booth, they rewound the video & started it again without any sound at all. It continued to run in silence through Daldry's curtain speech to the start of the show proper. After over a half hour, a manager finally surfaced & after being confronted by three men in the audience & myself for the lack of customer service, she apologized for the delay and promised vouchers for another movie & concessions.
