I'm 6 foot 5. I can usually help a little if I get creative and at least try and keep from moving my head around too much. I do remember sitting down in my seat for 'Hedwig' and barely being able to fit in the seat at all, let alone slide down a little bit.

at SF ballet, the guy in front of me is tall and constantly moving his head every few seconds. really annoying. just sit still so i can find a sight line around your head.

Oy, don't even talk to me about moving heads, bobbing heads. This is why I try to get left/right aisle seats or seats in severely raked theaters whenever possible.
