Yes, I think the ending of the play also indicates that we are to accept that it's real, and it's odd to see an embrace of faith like that in a NY playhouse. But even then what we are meant to understand about the final revelation is a bit of a puzzle.
Still, I thought it held the stage very well...
I sat at the front and after the first scenes staged in the house I stopped turning and just listened. I didn't think I missed much.
