I, no doubt, over reacted to your post prompted, I think,by the comment concerning Jake Gyllenhaal and your desire for "improved behavior" at the stage door.

Some actors, especially those who have successfully navigated the waters from commodity to brand name, consider the behavior you desire to be a necessary element in protecting and enhancing their brand. The portion of your post regarding Mr. Gyllenhaal appears to justify that necessity.
No harm, no foul.
