and that really didn't affect my reaction. The problem was in lighting and spacing. The spacing and re-blocking didn't clarify any of the character driven moments and neither did the lighting heighten these moments. With so many onstage throughout the numbers, one never knew where to look. That's the choreography's and lighting's job to increase focus on the important moments. Didn't happen here.
