Walken always seemed an odd (and poor) choice for Hook, and this promo does not inspire confidence. Of course, you can't judge an entire performance from a five-second clip, but still, I'd say I'm even more skeptical than I was. Williams has what sounds like a pleasant voice, though with more of pop timbre than musical theatre. I'm holding out hope for her.
