Not sure what his relation is to the show but Justin Guarini came over to the small crowd and told us which screen to watch. They played the commercial and then a countdown and it started exactly at 7:45. It was THRILLING. I got chills. Standing outside in drizzling rain with those two beautiful girls in their beautiful costumes on a huge screen singing the hell out of "Who Will Love Me As I Am?" I like that they really pace themselves vocally so that it builds to a euphoric climax. I'm so glad I went. I'll never forget it,

From the clip -- quite a distance -- I'd say the sound was superb. It seemed to carry beautifully. And weren't the leading ladies in terrific voice last night? I've seen the show, but from that clip alone, I'd say, it puts to rest the idea that these women are giving a vocally or emotionally diluted version of the score.

I agree wholeheartedly. The night I saw the show, their vocal power was nowhere near what they did in the clip from Times Square on opening night.

I hope the sound above is what they continue to deliver throughout their run!

Were you wearing your JCSS jacket?

I didn't know that was Justin Guarini.
