From the clip -- quite a distance -- I'd say the sound was superb. It seemed to carry beautifully. And weren't the leading ladies in terrific voice last night? I've seen the show, but from that clip alone, I'd say, it puts to rest the idea that these women are giving a vocally or emotionally diluted version of the score.

I agree wholeheartedly. The night I saw the show, their vocal power was nowhere near what they did in the clip from Times Square on opening night.

I hope the sound above is what they continue to deliver throughout their run!
