Imperial Theatre - Bathroom Warning

Posted by: MarjorieMae 12:02 am EST 11/19/14

The bathrooms are located on the mezzanine level and the lines get long very quickly during the intermission, down the stairs and into the orchestra level. Be prepared to jump up and get there immediately. It also becomes hazardous for anyone with walking problems because the handrails on either side of the stairs is blocked by the people in line. By the way, I needed to go again during the 2nd act and it's nice to know they pipe the sound into the bathroom so you don't miss a word. No, I didn't go during "Bring Him Home."LOL
I loved Karimloo and Swenson but the production pales in comparison to the Trevor Nunn/John Caird staging and the John Napier designs.
