actors-get thru this moments

I am wondering, to those of you who have performed, directed, and stage managed and ran lighting cues-

is there one part of your performance that sets you on edge and you can't relax until that moment passes.

for Keith Carradine, it might have been that hand-clapping in Favorite Son, for Bacall it might have been the dance during "But Alive," for Patti, Boyd, Laura, it might have been the plate tossing during "Together," for Michael Hayden it might have been the face slap with "Louise"

I know a lot of shows' big moments are towards the end, but I am wondering if there are smaller moments that are the focus of concentration. I am also wondering if shows are written so that a star has a big spot early on to relax into the role and the greater big spots to come

please inform
