"Broderick underplays nicely" -- I was being diplomatic. Regarding the dark subplots in The Band Wagon: I liked the way Tony Sheldon just took every sticky situation that erupted in stride -- also it was interesting the way Stokes dealt with Lester's drinking, Lily's unrequited attraction to him, and Paul's overall being such a dick. I just don't see this ever working as a Broadway show.
