“Right now we’re waiting on a Broadway theater to become available,” she said.

Good to hear. As I said at the time, this show could be a big crowd-pleasing hit.

This show was "pleasant", but I'd be very surprised if it ultimately came to Broadway. It's definitely meant for regional theaters.

Was the play better received than I recall? Fleming on Broadway would be extraordinary; I'm curious why this is her choice.

She's been on the hunt for a Broadway-bound project for some time. Regardless of the quality of the play, her name could sell a lot of tickets. (She's one of the few truly bankable opera stars--that could probably translate to Broadway)
