Well I am a film buff and I follow Woody Allen's career, who appeared in the film as an actor, so yes, I definitely know about The Front. But maybe I'm not typical. But I don't think your naming the play with the same title would be a big issue.

I don't think that the OP meant that the word "front" was his title. Looked like he was saying that the word "The" was "in front" of the rest of the tititle. I.e., that original title had "the" and his title didn't. db
