...her appearance, apparently because of the death of Mike Nichols.

I thought she might cancel. Whoopi Goldberg broke down when talking about his death on "The View" yesterday.

He talked about Mike Nichols, they showed a photo of Nichols, and again mentioned that Birdman took place in the world of the theater.
