she combined the story of the three girls and 2 boys accused of murder at the time. It is fiction (and the author states there is nothing in fact relating to the two stories), but it gave the girls the love interest.

Here, the musician does rescue her. I really think it is hard to have a love story where one character doesn't sing.

If this show moves forward, they really need to train ballet dancers (that look more like 14) to also sing, like they did for Billy Elliot. That would be impractal for Kennedy Center one month production. The Luker shadowing doesn't work and Marks pointed that out.
