a Richard Avedon photograph of Mike Nichols & Elaine May was used for the Playbill cover for their Broadway debut at the Golden Theatre. Not sure if it was an existing photo or if was done for the production. He does get a credit on IBDB. Interesting that it was Arthur Penn that directed "An Evening with Mike Nichols and Elaine May" considering Mr Nichols would end up taking home the Oscar the year he was up for "Bonnie & Clyde"
