– Bay Area crooner Russ Lorenson is back making merry for his 9th annual Christmas in San Francisco show, with his special guests Carly Ozard and the 16-piece Kelly Park Big Band, at Feinstein’s at the Nikko on Thursday, December 11 (8 p.m.). Tickets for Russ Lorenson range in price from $25–$40 and are available now by calling 866.663.1063 or visiting www.ticketweb.com. russ lorenson Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein’s at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein’s at the Nikko by Executive Chef Philippe Striffeler, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

This always-swingin' evening offers plenty of seasonal tunes by some of the Bay Area's most beloved entertainers. It's like hanging out with that musical family we all wish we had, but could only watch on TV. Russ is heard each year on "The Bay Area's Official Christmas Station - 96.5 KOIT-FM" with his recording of "Christmas in San Francisco," and like the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol at A.C.T., and the ice rink in Union Square, the show has become an annual Bay Area holiday tradition.So skip the Christmas caroling and spend a cozy winter's evening with Russ and his pals as they celebrate the holidays with an evening of jingle jazz!

All seating at Feinstein’s at the Nikko is cabaret style and available on a first-come, first-served basis within the section purchased. Guests who purchase the prix-fixe dinner at Restaurant Anzu will receive a complimentary section upgrade (subject to availability) and get to choose their exact seat locations within the upgraded section
Guests of Feinstein’s at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko’s lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko’s intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein’s at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances. DECEMBER 12TH

DAVE DAMIANI AND THE NO VACANCY ORCHESTRA WITH RENEE OLSTEAD AND LANDAU EUGENE MURPHY JR.
Dave Damiani is an emerging new talent whose debut album Watch What Happens was released last year and called “an incredible achievement” by GRAMMY Award-winner and Feinstein’s at the Nikko Artist, Steve Tyrell. Dave will be joined on stage by Warner Brother’s recording artist, David Foster protégé and Chris Botti collaborator, Renee Olstead and America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. who’s first CD That’s Life (produced by Steve Tyrell) debuted at number one on the Billboard Jazz Chart. These young artists will be backed by The No Vacancy Orchestra and, together, they will celebrate the legacy of Frank Sinatra on what would have been the Chairman’s 99th Birthday.


December 13 – 14 TOVAH FELDSHUH

Acclaimed actress Tovah Feldshuh, nominated a total of six times for Tony and Emmy Awards, makes her Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut in Tovah: Out of Her Mind! She’ll perform songs from Gershwin to Judy Collins as well as a gallery of hilarious characters from socialite Muffy Brooks Asthma Alsop on Park Avenue to Grandma Ada in the Bronx. Ms. Feldshuh was last seen by San Francisco audiences at the Geary Theatre in Golda’s Balcony by William Gibson about Prime Minister Golda Meir. Her performance of this role in New York became the longest running one-woman show in Broadway history. Most recently, Feldshuh stopped the show as the trapeze-swinging Berthe in the Tony Award-winning revival of Pippin.


December 18 & 27 SHARON McNIGHT

One of America’s top cabaret stars and Bay Area favorite, Sharon McNight brings her wicked sense of humor and big brassy voice back to Feinstein’s at the Nikko in Twisted Xmas: A Druid’s Guide to the Holidays . She’ll take an irreverent look at holiday traditions and present an array of alternative holiday songs rather than the same old carols you’ve heard hundreds of times. McNight’s outrageous and wacky musical commentaries will fill your holiday season with lots of laughter.



December 19 YVONNE FLORES

Singer/songwriter Yvonne Flores collaborated with jazz greats Ray Obiedo, Pete Escovedo, Bill Ortiz (Santana) Jeff Cressman and Elena Pinderhughes on her new CD Sheer Bliss in which she expresses her state of happiness having overcome some trying life experiences. In her Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut, Yvonne, a San Francisco native, will celebrate the joy of the season with Under the Mistletoe . Her heart-warming show features Flores’ fresh takes on holiday classics presented with a voice inspired by legends Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn yet also reflective of her influences of Latin rhythms, Brazilian jazz, blues and swing. This is a fun and flirty holiday party you won’t want to miss complete with surprise guests and maybe even a visit from Santa Claus.




December 20 - 21 KATYA SMIRNOFF-SKYY
