What is the new trend for Broadway Musicals?

Posted by: Greg_M 04:18 pm EST 11/24/14

The last decade was filled with Motion Pictures turned in to average Broadway shows and most failed ("Rocky" "Bullets Over Broadway"). The jukebox musical is still going but what's next? The British stopped sending sung through epics and revivals are growing old (plus almost everything has been revived)

Maybe there doesn't have to be a "trend." I think just striving to have well-crafted musicals would be nice. There doesn't have to be any sort of gimmick involved, only that they're done with care and passion.
