We shall see soon enough but I think Sting will likely have the desired effect. If you figure he enters the show with a million dollar deficit (that's a bit high, but it's a round number), that means that they need an increase of 200k a week to break even. That's not a lot of fans for someone who can fill MSG. I think they will double that, maybe more. And if they can generate Billie Joe Armstrong level sales, that gives them a decent cushion to ride out the winter and then make it to the Tonys, at which point who knows? Incidentally, you may think it is a supporting role but the ads are already out and they say Sting Stars in The Last Ship.
