White Christmas US Tour Director

Posted by: dlittle 08:47 pm EST 11/24/14

I saws the tour of White Christmas in Pittsburgh last week. It was delightful and a welcome distraction from life on that particular day...:)

I was wondering, however, why I could find no mention of Walter Bobbie anywhere in the playbill, or on the website. I know that he doesn't personally oversee the show anymore. Randy Skinner is listed as director and choreographer. However, what I saw, seemed very similar to what Walter Bobbie helped develop, at least the clips that I've seen online (I didn't get to see it in it's original productions around the country or on Broadway). Even the production in London mentions Bobbie as the "original production director" and Morgan Young as the "UK production director." Why is there no mention of the work that Bobbie has done in terms of what led to the current US tour? Can anyone shed some light on this?
