I was there last night in row E. Very receptive audience, I think the show will need to gain some traction and hopefully ticket sales will boost as the show goes along. That is a very typical thing for L.A. theater.

The proscenium has been narrowed for the set (thankfully) and since I was pretty close up, I can't say how sightlines are from further back. But the production is wonderful, the level of playing is solid among everyone. I am a fan of Jemima Rooper who plays Elvira and it was great to see her having fun with the role. Everyone delivered at just the right level. Lansbury's Madame Arcati is comic but honest, not very showy but fun. A very charming evening.
